Great house, perfect for family of four. Super clean, with everything you need and good WiFi. The location is on a farm, but what you can't see from the photos is that you have total privacy and it's also very quiet, so a good sleep is guaranteed! The garden is fine to sit out and for the kids to have a run around in. Host was very welcoming and gave us hints and tips of where to go. Would def stay again!
Just a small point. The accommodation is lovely and bright but with so many large windows, it did get a bit hot when the sun was beating down.

Great house, perfect for a family of four. Super clean with everything you need and good WiFi. The location is private and quiet, guaranteeing a good night's sleep! The garden is nice to relax in. The host was welcoming and provided useful tips.
The listing mentioned a sofa bed that was not found, and the single beds in one room were uncomfortable. The house got hot with the large windows, a fan would have been helpful.

We had an amazing Christmas getaway at this cozy and well-equipped holiday home. The kitchen was a highlight, with plenty of space and all the modern amenities we needed. The woodburner in the living room added to the cozy atmosphere, making it perfect for snuggling up on those cold winter nights. Plus, the underfloor heating throughout the home kept us warm and comfortable. Another great aspect was the helpful and friendly staff who warmly greeted us during our walks on the farm.
That the single beds in one of the bedrooms were not very comfortable. It would have been better if they were replaced or topped with a mattress pad.

The Old Bull Pen in Abergavenny was such a great find! The modern and well-equipped kitchen made it a joy to cook our own meals, and the comfortable and clean accommodation made us feel right at home. The location was perfect - tucked away in a quiet area, yet still close enough to explore the beautiful countryside. The staff and family were incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to our stay.
One small suggestion to improve the breakfast option would be to consider adding blinds on the upper parts of the kitchen windows to help shield the sun when it's low in the sky. Additionally, a slightly larger sign on the main road would make it easier to spot the turning and avoid missing it.

The house got quite hot when the sun was shining because of all the large windows. It would have been helpful to have a fan.

We stayed at The Old Bull Pen for a few days and it was perfect for our family of four. The location was wonderfully quiet and the secure garden was a great bonus for our dog. The photos really don't do it justice. The living room with a wood burner and comfy sofas was a cozy retreat. The games room provided a fun space for both work and play, with a mini pool table and games available. The spacious master bedroom and underfloor heating added to the overall comfort. The warm welcome from the staff and family made us feel right at home.
100% Recommend this hotel.

I had an amazing stay at the Old Bull Pen villa. The house was perfect for my family, with plenty of space and everything we needed. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the WiFi was reliable, which was important for us. The villa's location on a farm ensured total privacy and a peaceful atmosphere, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The garden was a great place for the kids to run around, and we enjoyed sitting outside. Rachel, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided us with helpful hints and tips for our stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again!
During my stay in December, the low position of the sun made sitting at the spacious kitchen table a bit uncomfortable due to glare in our eyes. Some blinds on the upper parts of the large kitchen windows would have been useful.

Great location, close to Abergavenny but still quiet. Loved the modern and well-equipped kitchen, and the clean and comfortable accommodation.
The single beds were not very comfortable, could feel the coils. the large windows made the accommodation hot and could have used a fan.
